Hostel Rules & Regulations

Mata Sahib Kaur College of Nursing provides on-campus hostel facilities to ensure students experience a secure and focused environment conducive to learning. Our hostels are located within the college premises and are equipped with all basic amenities required for a comfortable stay.To maintain order and ensure the well-being of all residents, the following rules must be followed:

Students must actively maintain cleanliness in their rooms and surrounding areas.

Furniture must be used responsibly; damage will be chargeable.

Cupboards and valuables must be kept locked. Jewellery and expensive items are not allowed.

Room allotment is done by the Warden. Requests for change may be considered.

Misuse or wastage of water is strictly discouraged and may lead to disciplinary action.

Relatives are not allowed to enter hostel rooms.

Students must return to the hostel on time; late arrivals will be taken seriously.

In case of illness, students must inform their class teacher or hostel warden immediately.

All student mail will be censored by the hostel warden.

Parents are encouraged to visit teachers for academic feedback on any Saturday.

Visitor timings:

Sundays: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Weekdays: – Summer: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Winter: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Students may go home once a month, only with parents or approved guardians.

Any form of misconduct may lead to discontinuation of hostel or college privileges.

Meals are served only in the designated dining area.

Students must submit 4 passport-sized photographs of approved visitors, including 2 of male relatives (for emergency visit permission).

The Principal and Director reserve the right to amend hostel rules as needed.

Any damage to property will be recovered from the student responsible. If not identified, the cost will be shared among all hostel residents.
